I would like to recommend Grace Buds Montessori to any parent because it’s one of the best schools you can get in all aspects – from being a Christian faith-based institution, to the welcoming, serene and hygienic environment. They also have this arrangement where your ward can actually come to the school a few times just to get conversant with the environment before they start officially (I believe they’re the first school with such an arrangement and it was really one of the reasons I settled for Grace Buds). They also provide you with daily reports on your ward, from how he or she took their meals, to whether he or she napped or not, to the number of diaper changes made! It can be done at Grace Buds!
Their feedback turnover is superb! Trust Auntie Jo, Mrs Jolene Tettey as I affectionately call her, to give you all the information you need about your ward’s day just as she’s promised. Their teachers are well trained for the job too; my little one does not cease to amaze me with all the new things he learns each day. His speech has also improved by 90% since he started schooling at Grace Buds Montessori. I would recommend GBM any day!

Grace Buds Montessori School is the preferred choice for childhood education. I have personally seen tremendous improvement in my children. My 3-year-old girl was not enthused about doing homework but now she does it with little guidance. In her previous school I used to hold her hand to guide her write her alphabets and numbers. At Grace Buds Montessori, I was cautioned to allow her to write by herself. For me, I think it’s a step in the right direction because it has built a good level of self confidence and resilience in my daughter. Now when you try holding her hand to write she says, “Mummy don’t help me”. The teacher-student relationship is also top notch.

In terms of Academics (classroom work):

I’ve watched my 2-year and 3-year-old children improve in the knowledge about colors, alphabets, numbers, shapes and parts of the human body and I ask myself, “How do they do it? The school also provides the students with the best learning materials.

The Teachers

In terms of caring for the students, the teachers treat the children like their own – my son is now undergoing potty training but I always pick him smelling good, no issues of nappy rash.

The Environment:

The environment is Godly, and I am always happy when I hear my children singing Christian songs they learnt from school. The school’s indoor and outdoor playgrounds are so amazing and the few times I’ve watched my children play on the slides, trampoline etc., it was so much fun to watch.
I’m happy I made the best decision to bring my children to Grace Buds Montessori School.

One of the most important decisions a parent will make is whether or not to send their child to preschool. After I considered all of the benefits and drawbacks of enrolling my child in a preschool, where he’s gonna make wonderful early childhood memories and learn a variety of new skills. Grace Buds Montessori happened to be one of the best decisions I ever made for my 2-year-old child. An authentic Montessori which is credible and the profile of the proprietress is so impressive, making me feel so confident about the quality of the school.

Teachers and Faculty:

The teachers at Grace Buds are well trained, as they radiate warmth and love to the kids. They are the “second mothers” as they’re in charge of the child’s well-being while you are away. They’re very welcoming, kind, respectful and accommodating. They provide quality care. The teachers create a great learning environment for the children to explore and develop skills to learn and grow.

The School Premises:

The school is clean and conducive for kids to learn. The school has great infrastructure and kids love being there. They have both indoor and outdoor play areas which are awesome and the serenity of the school is so unique. The safety and security of the child is assured.

Teaching Method:

The teaching methodology used by the school has really enhanced my child’s ability to speak fluently. My 2-year-old is able to identify about 7 colours, can identify all the alphabets phonetically a to z, knows about 6 different basic shapes and can also count up to 20. That’s amazingly impressive! The curriculum is mostly based on play, developing skills like listening and understanding spoken words through play-based activities, and using their imagination, whilst carrying out activities that are age appropriate. There is an emphasis on the child’s self-motivation. Kudos to the proprietress and her team.

Feeding:

The school provides the kids with a well-balanced diet. Their menu is well planned with the kids’ favourite. Knowing your child is being fed at the right time and having the right nutritional proportions is quite important. Honestly, every mother can testify how difficult it can sometimes be, feeding toddlers. Timely feeding and reports are also impressive.

Daily School Report:

Also, there’s a daily report from the school. They constantly update me on my child’s wellbeing, how active he was, diaper changes, eating habits and anything that concerns him.
I highly recommend Grace Buds Montessori to any parent of a preschooler seeking a home away from home, as well as a high quality educational institute.

Grace Buds Montessori has been absolutely amazing for my daughters. I’ve been especially impressed with the progress my 5-year-old has made in just a short time. She only turned 5 three months ago, but her reading skills are beyond her age — she’s confidently reading everything she sees, from billboards to product labels, not just books (so it’s clearly not just memorized school texts).
One moment that really stood out was when I brought home some medicine. She easily read ‘Vermox’ from the box, which was impressive but not surprising. Then she picked up another box labeled ‘Promethazine.’ I told her it was a big word and that she might need help with it. But she calmly broke it down phonetically and read it out loud — ‘Promethazine’ — all on her own. I was blown away.
This moment remains a major highlight for me as a parent, and it speaks volumes about the quality of teaching at Grace Buds Montessori. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job!

My name is Julia. And before we finally found Grace Buds, my husband and I had been looking for a good school for our little one. We were hoping within our hearts to actually get a Christian school. So, imagine our excitement when we found Grace Buds Montessori! And the first time we met the proprietress, our son warmed up to her immediately, which was very heartwarming. And I knew we had found a good place. And since he started, he is more sociable now. He seems to be really enjoying his time in school and every morning he can’t wait to go to Aunty Jolene.
